This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines acceptable use of services provided by ZeroBeat Labs (“ZeroBeat Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is governed by our Terms of Service and applies to all users of our Shoutcast hosting and related services (“Services”). Use of our Services signifies agreement to this Policy and the Terms of Service.

1. Legal Compliance

Users must comply with all applicable local, state (including the laws of Bernalillo County, New Mexico), federal, and international laws and regulations when using our Services. This includes but is not limited to laws related to copyright, data privacy (such as the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other regional data protection frameworks), telecommunications, and consumer protection.

If you are accessing our Services from a jurisdiction with additional or different legal requirements (e.g., Canada, European Union, Brazil, UK, Australia), you are responsible for compliance with those laws. Use of our Services constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement that you are solely responsible for such compliance, and that your use will not violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.

It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure any content broadcasted, hosted, or transmitted complies with these laws, including any third-party licensing obligations for music or other media.

2. Prohibited Use

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Hosting or distributing illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringing content

  • Engaging in fraud, abuse, harassment, or hate speech

  • Using a standard account to resell services (resale is permitted only through reseller accounts)

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks

  • Using Services for high-risk or illegal broadcasting (e.g., unlicensed rebroadcasts, pirated media)

  • Promoting or engaging in any activity that may harm our reputation or operations

3. Resource Use & Technical Limitations

  • Resource usage must remain within the limits specified by the selected plan.

  • Excessive use of system resources or bandwidth that impacts service for others may result in throttling or suspension.

  • Use of third-party hosted media players may cause performance issues and is not supported.

4. Client Responsibility

  • Clients are fully responsible for setup, customization, and music uploads to their stations.

  • ZeroBeat Labs does not provide ongoing technical or billing support to end users of reseller accounts unless a paid arrangement exists.

  • Clients must not disclose support contact details unless written permission is granted.

5. Enforcement & Violations

Violations of this Policy may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of services

  • Permanent bans without refund

  • Cooperation with legal authorities as outlined in the Terms of Service

6. Amendments

We may revise this Policy at any time. Continued use of Services after any updates implies consent to the revised terms.
